The pieces are made out of Makore (African cherry), Bubinga and Canarywood.
The name Knotsplosion (from Oskar) comes from when the 3 pieces explode apart
at the four intersections of the puzzle pieces. It takes a bit of maneuvering
and rotation of the pieces to separate them.
